Post Game Green Bay Defeats Indy 16-10

Kraft had a solid game that deserves mention. That third down conversion was huge and had a great block on another play. Mark was right , he's GB #1 TE now.
muskmelon's looking like a wasted pick right now.

Today did nothing to convince me Willis is a viable QB.
he's been with the team for three weeks, and he only had one week to prepare for this game. he doesn't even know the playbook yet. ml said he only knew the plays that were planned for today. and yes, they ran 53 times vs only 14 pass attempts. but 12 of those 14 were completions. i thought he played a pretty good game for a backup.

That pass he threw Doubs was underthrown. Besides that everything was pretty much dump passes. I just don't think he has a arm to make throws or can make the reads he needs to make

How many snaps did Willis run under center? 0? 5? There are staple things in this offense that this guy hasn’t really done before, they can’t drill it into him mid season. All things considered, he didn’t hurt them, didn’t lose the game, did what he needed to and helped get them a win.

Though as much as we all did not expect much for Willis. Richardson was awful today for Indy. Thru the 1st 3 qtrs Willis and Richardson both had nearly same amount of passing yards. This was a guy who was a high draft pick and should not be seeing that bad of play out of him.

In any of the past 4 seasons or so this game is a loss. I’ve been nitpicky about a few things. But ML found a way to win a game with Willis as his starting QB… even with the imperfect play..
agree. too bad he couldn't do the same last week with his starting qb.

Forget the playbook. LeFleur answered that question. He doesn't have to know the playbook. All he needs to do is know the plays in the game plan, and he is involved in creating it. This simplifies what he has to do out there. It's a distinct advantage for him, since he's never wondering what's going to happen next.

lol. pretty sure i said that in the post you quoted. but glad you agree.

Richardson was awful today because our secondary was dead nuts on most of their coverage. At the same time, we were getting enough pressure on him to make him throw early in a lot of cases.
