I like Evers. #9 QB in the 2022 class. He was offered by Cincy so I take it Fickell had a connection to him that got him to UW. Fickell looking long term view here over short term of taking a more proven QB in the portal. I like this and hope it pans out well for UW.

Fickell and his staff are coming in and hitting the ground running and hitting HR's getting guys to commit to the program right away. I just never see PC/JL ever doing this and getting guys from transfer portal to come to UW. Seems that they were more interested in the home grown talent then using the portal to fill needs.
