I wouldn't call it similar. Rubin had 36 tackles. Raji had 22. Rubin had 2 Sacks, Raji had 0.5. Raji did have a few stuffs and passes defended where Rubin only had 1 pass defended. I think Raji should be around the 3 million/year mark.

I think there is no chance Packers sign any of them. Forte and Daniels esp Daniels are too old and Travathan will cost a ton which I can't see Packers paying huge bucks too.

Trevathan has gotten a 4-year contract offer from da Bears, per Rotoworld. No word on $$$ yet, but it's gonna be silly. They speculate 8M per year. I just don't see us competing for him.

Daniels could be an OK stop-gap no. 2 TE, but not a big improvement as a starter. And he's old, reportedly considering retirement. BTW, former Saint Ben Watson signed a surprise deal with the Ravens. No word on $$$. Watson is 35, but had a 800+ yard renaissance season in 2015. Why he'd go to a team so full of young, promising TEs (Maxx Williams, Crockett Gillmore, Nick Boyle) baffles me.

Forte on the cheap interests me, would like to see what MM could do with him. There's a chance some team like the Pats will swoop in and offer him a better chance at a starting spot and more money. I usually wanna go young and cheap at RB, though.

I'm guessing Starks could be brought back from probably close to 1-1.5 million a year while Forte I bet would get double that per year.
 
So much for Forte - signed with the Jets - haven't seen numbers yet.

Fleener gone as well - to the Saints for an awful lot of money - 5yrs/36mil! . . . yikes.

Heard on shout Teds not even in his office but instead out scouting players. Says a lot about how active the Packers plan on being during the FA period IMO.

Reports out that Forte got around 3.5 million a year.
