Teams have always overpayed for the top FA's. It's only going to get worse with inflation. However, 2nd tier FAs can be had at a somewhat reasonable price IMO. Don't throw out the baby with the bathwater.

dwayne allen is not a top tier free agent. as salmar80 has already pointed out, he's not even as good as dick-rod - the guy we are trying to replace (or at least improve upon).

I wasn't just speaking of the black population of GB. When my husband went to GB East 40 or so years ago there were no minorities there. That just isn't the case today.
 
Seahawks signed their nose tackle Ahtyba Rubin to a 3-year 12M extension.

Could be the baseline for Raji's contract. Similar snapcount, similar production, though Raji offers more pass rush at his best.

I wouldn't go higher than 3/14M, being careful with the guarantees.

Sure Hispanic population has changed but to a pro football player is about culture and lifestyle
