Post-game GB Beats JAX 30-27

Following up to the lead post, game thoughts:

Defense: They got gassed by that 80-degree FL heat. If you're not used to this stuff it's tough. yeah it was really nice compared to August but most of you are still not taking it into account enough... they wore down and thus some injuries.

3 of those big gains were broken coverages, Haf tried to change up late and they got caught in transition.

Offense:
Love, fluke injury on the groin. The INT so many are bitching about was a very good defensive play by the DB. Not sure any QB could put the ball better with the way the corner played it. In other words, get off Love's butt someone made a better play than the WR.
To that end the pitch catch to Doubs down the sideline was a top 5 QB pitch and catch..... that's talent you can't coach.
Josh J was a horse today... have to keep him healthy down the stretch.
Kraft is a top 5 TE and they need to sign him to a long-term deal ASAP. The man might be the next Paul Coffman and be an iconic Packer.

ST: We have our kicker/punter. Work out the kinks on the cover and return and we are set.

Pretty? No but GB hasn't won that many games in October in over a decade. If you look back to the Philly/MN games we could easily be 8-0 right now. This team plays together, they overcome adversity and they adapt. If your bitching you should probably go be a Bears fan and be in better company.

Packers have to wait until after 2025 to sign Kraft 3 year rule on rookies signing new deals.

With today's win the Packers sweep the AFC South on their schedule 4-0.

Yeah this looked like Aaron, perfect

Good point on the defense being gassed. They worked their tail off early in the game. And yes, at this time of year, 80 degrees along with Florida sun and humidity, it's not an easy sell. I know the feeling myself, down here in South Texas. It can sap your energy pretty darned fast. I'd bet we had at least a couple of guys who lost about 10# out there today.

I forgot to mention McKinney stepping up again. He and Jacobs look like real steals when it comes to free agent signings. We're talking about two real impact players, and they're showing they're in GB to make a difference.

There's no such thing as a cakewalk in the NFL. When it comes to the pros, the team considered worst in the league can beat the team supposedly the best. It's kind of why when it comes to picking winners, if you can hit 70% regularly, you've done real good.

Last time a Packers player had 6 INT's in a year that was Casey Heyward in 2012. McKinney still has 9 more games.

Felt like a trap game and almost was, as Mark pointed out they overcame that which is pretty big deal in the NFL. No matter how the second half of the season pans out GB has built a special group of players on this team. This is ML group of men and I'll take it over the way MM built his teams any day.

I don't know if it was a trap game as much as Love was hurt early in the game. If he's healthy does he end up with 2 or 3 TD's on the day?
