Packers 2022 Thread

I warned you dudes earlier in the week about playing "It's the WR's" " It's The coaching" and bitching while covering Rodgers Ass! So now the gloves come off M@%$&*(

AR decides pre-snap to throw to Doubs. He misses Watkins wide open, pitch and catch, for an easy TD.

And no, Watkins was not supposed to be blocking here. True pass set from the OL. And a Watkins block at the snap would be a penalty for offensive pass interference. Watkins ran the correct route. Rodgers made the wrong decision. It cost the team 7 pts.

I understand what you guys are saying but Vince Young? Come on...

AR has 11 TDS and 3 INTS. He has completed 65% of his passes with a crap ton of drops.

Has he missed some passes he usually makes? Yes. Is he playing at an MVP level? No. Is he making 50M which the Packers decided to give him and he took it? Yes. Should he be playing better since he is making that kind of money? Absolutely.

I know he is a pain in the a _ _ and runs his mouth but to say he is throwing worm burners and ducks and playing like Vince Young is laughable. Especially, when he has a bad thumb (should not be playing), rookie WR's running the wrong routes, and WRs running into each other.

Sorry, RP but I had to say it. :)
The Vince Young comparison was facetious. Main stats say he's doing OK, the advanced stuff says he's been a middle tier NFL QB this season, same range as Geno Smith and Daniel Jones. And that's my point - a middle tier QB should not be pointing fingers, should not be putting himself on a pedestal and saying "you're all the problem and it's up to me to tell the truth" because neither of those things are true. HE is part of the problem, and it is NOT his job to go to the media to blast his teammates.

I'm realistic about his ceiling as a player now, it decreases every year. IMO it's foolish to compare him to Josh Allen or Pat Mahomes, who are churning into and through their primes. I do expect him though to make proper reads of the defense and throw rudimentary routes with confidence and accuracy rather than fear and laziness.

I will say for how people bitch the WRs are crap and cant get open, for every game you see pictures or video posted of multiple WRs running open where Rodgers just dont throw to them Our WRs are not as bad as some like to think. I stick up for Rodgers alot, but this is one area that drives me nuts is how he seems to lock in on certain receivers and wont throw to others for whatever the reason.

I can go on for pages and pages over the past 4 games of missed reads and lowballs, high balls and balls at players feet.

Bullshit on the "it's the WR" These guys are open.

This is...again...more reason why Rodgers shouldn't be talking about other players screwing up in interviews.

All I am saying is glass houses Aaron.

I am not saying they are perfect and we have warts for sure but you can't call people out and not include the dude throwing the awful passes...so hats off good post
