Actually on the land Packes own they ended up working with Cablea's and built a store just off 41 LOL.what kind of shopping would work in green bay? fleet farm?
It’s not large enough eitherI thought I read that AmFam Field is no longer configured to host football.
Retail in general is not sustainable to being with. It’s all about your digital footprint. What they need is mid range bars and restaurants that cater to the demo. The Battery in Atlanta is 95% food and drinks vs retail. Find a way for folks to visit weeklyI don't think the Packers will do regular shopping mall business in their zone. The reason? Malls have a fairly short life expectancy. You can go around the nation and find a lot of them that are either closed, or nearly there. Some of them malls you'd have figured would have a hundred year life span, maybe more. The cost of renting floor space is enormous, and Covid-19 changed a lot of people's shopping habits. Packinatl can attest to that.
The Packers want "associated businesses," that smack of the same product direction they're in. Cabela's is a good choice. Fishing, hunting, football, etc... sports. There will be transitory businesses, no doubt about it, but some will end up there as long as the Packers exist.
I remember someone telling me that the Brett Favre steakhouse would be forever. I just laughed. It's his name on the front, he ain't cooking the food, and when he's gone, that name is not going to be worth sending him royalty checks over decades later.
We have the same thing, here in Austin, TX. Vince Young Steakhouse. It's his name out front, and he gets a tiny royalty, but he doesn't own the place. They just rented his name.
Exactly my point. It’s traffic frequently. But it’s GB so has to be affordableA singular shopping mall is like living in a small city. How often do you go into the same darned store and wander the aisles looking at the same things you saw seven days earlier? Bars and restaurants may change names, and their food/drink specialties, but by and large they change over often enough to create a new atmosphere for now clients.
I always think about the bars that we frequented in GB back in the old days. Not one still exists. There are new bars in a lot of those places, but it's a completely different client that visits them.
So it's really camp randell or nothing then for GB if they would have something done at Lambeau that would take more then a off-season to doIt’s not large enough either
You look at Titletown not much is there you got a hotel a bar/resturant and a sleding hill and not much elseA singular shopping mall is like living in a small city.
