ML sounded excited about the way Watkins is moving at practice, I just hope they don’t rush him back early because those other guys are out.

I think that’s ML trying to blow smoke. I can’t imagine Watkins is near ready for game time.
 
Packers 23 Commanders 20. It should be a walk-over, but in all honesty, I'm even concerned picking the Packers on this one. No matter what, I won't come away with the feeling that the Packers show signs of having turned the corner.

Until this team shows some life, it's gonna be hard to pick them in many games. Maybe this is a "get right" type of game? Then again, I thought they would handle the Giants and Jets the same way. At this point, for me, they are all toss ups and could go either way. We've seen a 3rd string QB in the Pats give them a game. A banged up QB and depleted WR corps in the Giants beat them and then the Jets, who were the Jets, took them to the woodshed. The bright spot is that this team is 3-3 and this league is full of middling teams this year. I won't try and be my usual prophetic self, because a lot can change in a season, but let's hope we start seeing some improvement in all the areas we have been discussing. Let's hope they can win through the growth and the tightening up of the ship.
 
So will be interesting what moves GB makes today at WR. Lazard, Doubs, Rodgers, and Toure are only healthy WR's on the roster. Rodgers hardly ever see's an offensive snap and Toure has never played in a game.

Will Watkins be taken off IR? Will Winfree be signed to the 53 man as he can no longer be called up from the PS. Will Fulgham be a PS callup as he has not yet been called up for the PS to appear in a game.

None of these will strike fear in any defense and once again say put 8 in a box and see if a old looking Rodgers and his band of below average WR can do anything.

I'm thinking that too. Rivera will be heavily relying on that defense to try and replicate what the Jets did to the Packers O.

Bud, there is the rub. Unless this O can run the football against a loaded box I do not see us moving the football and scoring points through the air. No good WRs and AR looking average.

I’m looking at what Washington can or can’t do . One thing they cannot do is run the ball only averaging 95 per game. On the flip side they give up 131 per game. Jets were able to stop the run, questionable if Washington can.

Washington’s 2 wins were Jax and Chicago. They were dominated by Dallas and Philadelphia. And the off field distractions matter and that will be a GB crowd in the stands.
