2024 Badger Football Thread

UW is humming. I'm not only predicting a win, but I think UW throttles them. Penn State is ripe for an upset.
 
I've got my fingers crossed. We get some help by the game being in our house.

I'd like to say we win it, but I'm hesitant. I'm gonna say I want to see the Badgers play error free, and see what the defense can do to stop PSU on offense. Get that done, and we could see some good stuff out of our running game.
 
Ya know what? I'm being way too optimistic. The Badgers aren't anywhere close to being on a level of Penn State. If we don't get blown out, I'll be happy. Fickell's program still has a couple of years before it's going to be his team, with players who give him the options on both offense and defense to be as good as we're going to get with NIL the way it is.

We need to expect some real beat downs at times, until it happens. If we do better than that? I'd be ecstatic.

I do love the optimism both you and Keg Man have. It beats pessimism by a long shot. Me? I'm pragmatic.

Some people look at a glass and say, "It's only half full." Another looks at it and says; "It's half empty." Me? I look at it and say; "I'm gonna drink that and see if there's anymore around."
 
TW, Life is hard. The Badgers Coaches need to get an unexpected victory. We used to be favored to beat everybody but Ohio State and Michigan and slight underdogs to Penn State.

Now we're getting beat and beat bad. The USC loss is turning out to be horrible.

It's time.

60 minutes of good hard smart football. This is a defining game. Win and we are crossing over the hill. Lose and it's same old. Sorry that's hard, but it's true. Other teams with less are getting better. The teams we are chasing are getting better. We have stagnated. It's important to get a big win - it will improve the attitude, prove it can be done, and improve recruiting - while I believe money is King in recruiting all the money in the world isn't going to get some kid to a team that loses all the time.

Now is the time. it's a Locke!
 
Bucky is just not good enough - especially at QB and receiver

Somehow, Bucky needs to find a way to win this one.

It'll be tough. They'll have to play better than they played last week. But, I think it's possible. I hope it's possible.

If they don't win this Saturday, I think they'll have a hard time going bowling.

And, yes, they should still beat Nebraska and Minnesota. But, I think losing in Iowa will send them down a bad crushing path.

Therefore, Go Bucky. Waive to the kid and then leave the Hawkeyes in your dust.
