First year or so of Love will likely be tough, but they have a foundation, and when they move on from some of the bloated contracts they can work up the roster again. That said, no question they did not stock the playmaker shelves for Love the way they did for Rodgers. Expect that to change soon.

Can we trust Gute to draft well and rebuild the roster with cheap young talent.

I honestly think that’s an overreaction. Problem is we are spoiled by Favre & Rodgers and anything that does not meet that expectation will be deemed a failure by many. The NFL is not built for long rebuilds with how the CBA is structured. If 8-9 or 9-8 is ugly to some so be it. I trust ML, not so much the FO but let’s see it play out

I am thinking first couple years under Love we are looking at 5-6 win seasons. First year under Rodgers was 6 wins.

I’m more in the 8-9 win range. Those Rodgers teams were just not that talented

With young blue chip talent you can count on going forward outside of Alexander do we have any?
