Gonna be a long year for Gutey even if Arod stays. Every time Arod looks bad on the field, every pouty face Arod makes on the sideline, every time they lose he will be met with "do you regret not trading Arod? Is the rift getting larger? Is Arod tanking on purpose?"

Seems this article is taking a shot at Murphy and Ball as the trigger men in the operation and Gutey was only picked as GM because he would be a "Yes" man.

Reading the article, makes it sound as if some hold animosity because he started off as a strength coach who rose through the ranks. This stuff is getting funnier by the day. GB front office has a PR nightmare on their hands.

well, that's probably pretty close to the truth. not many gms would accept the power structure that murphy constructed in green bay.
The front office is really 3 men but make no mistake, Murphy is running the show. Jason just undid some of the kumbaya that Aaron's buddies were trying to build the past 72 hours. Back and forth we go and where it stops nobody really knows.

Gutey was done when the power structure changed. Many on this board thought it very odd and were hesitant to sing it's praises. We're now, sort of, seeing some things come to light, if you believe some of these reports, and it's painting a picture of Murphy as a power hungry dude.
Let's also not forget Ball. He may not be very visible but he was promoted to executive vice president/director of football operations in 2018. He has some power and control too.

This can't be sitting very well with Murph and Ball. The curtain is kind of being pulled back and exposing them a little. We'll see how that affects things going forward. Their reputation may be taking a little hit. I wonder if anyone else will jump on this and dig a hit deeper into the power structure of the FO?
