Rodgers, The Packers and Reality

The biggest joke is by the media who keeps saying oh GB does not give Rodgers enough weapons. He is a MVP. How many weapons does he need? When you are a elite MVP QB you are expected not to be needed to be given a ton of weapons to win.

Simply the Packers have wasted their 'Rodgers' resource. They have and everyone here knows the Pack did not maximize his value by getting players and coaches to succeed - For The Pack.

The Pack keeps building for the future.

It's like letting a cake mold up instead of enjoying it when it was good.

There's going to be a lot of sad Packers' fans when Rodgers leaves and the years after. Not so much because he left, but because we'll be in wasteland. We'll have to suck for years to get the capital and draft to rebuild. As a guy who lived through the drought from Bart to Magic Man finally beating the Bears, I probably won't be around for this one.

To me it's just a shame that the Pack is not in a win now mode.
With the cap situation they have had the last 2-3 what was their choice? And 2 years ago they pulled up the Brinks truck for 2 Smiths + Amos. I get the missed picks. And let’s be candid here, 12 did not pull a Brady and left money on the table to give the team flexibility. Bottom line this team went 13-3 the last 2 years, yep 26-6 went to 2 NFCCG. 1 game they were outclassed, last year 12 needs to take some responsibility for not going to the SB. Lots of blame to go around

I don’t give one rats ass what the media says or speculates. Now to be fair, other than Adams he’s been blessed with pedestrian receivers not named Adams, until last year some mediocre TE, and an inconsistent RB.

Though I do blame that the team is foolish enough to buy that bring back players that were part to blame for why they did not get to the SB. We brought back and overpaid some of them. What's the old saying the defention of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting to get a different result?

Agree with that but you ether replace them with draft picks or lower level FA’s. Neither situation is ideal. You put yourself in this position because you did not draft worth a damn the last 3-4 and now you have to lay in the bed you made.

On the other hand, he’s had as good an OL through his career as anyone. Yes there were some lulls in the talent every now and then but nothing to complain about the past few seasons.

That’s valid, but 2x in the last 6 he’s been sacked 46+ times. But I get and agree your point

The thing I notice is when another team can force GB out of what they want to do on offense they struggle to find a different avenue in which to keep competing.
That is something AR and the HC have to both own up to.

Like Russ Wilson, a lot of those sacks are his own fault. He wants to hold the ball, and until last year it bit him in the butt with all the extra hits and wear and tear.

Guys, it's not for Rodgers.

For fucks sake, he's just an asset.

AND, WE DIDN'T MAXIMIZE OUR ASSET.

Not sorry, emptied a couple places of High Lives
