Rodgers, The Packers and Reality

It makes me scratch my head when NE and their drafting is used as a measuring stick standard.
I went back and looked at their drafts from the year AR was drafted (2005) thru 2020 and they haven’t drafted any better, and maybe worse, than GB has over that same time span.

Yeah it was not special at all. Maybe it’s simplistic but NE did one thing most organizations don’t, they took flyers on older guys and guys with red flags. They bought intro the “Do Your Job” culture or your toast.

BB was never great at drafting.. and now that Brady is gone it shows...

BB was able to install an almost like military culture of discipline and even more important the players bought into it.

And he always made sure both his D and O lines were some of the best.

Clark falls victim to constant double-teams because we don't have a couple of DEs who require serious attention. It's difficult to judge him except he still plugs the middle fairly well, which isn't easy, with those double-teams. He's actually handling two holes at once.

@RobDemovsky · 3h Aaron Rodgers on the @PatMcAfeeShow : “We’re exactly where we were last year when I made comments after the draft and during the season; nothing’s really changed. … All I can do is play my best, and I thought I did last year. (That) may have thrown a wrench into some timelines.”

More from that show :
“I meant what I said last year, really about being at peace with the whole thing. That hasn’t changed. I feel good about the way I played. I feel good about the way I led. I loved our interactions, and everything this show provided for me last year. I think people got a raw look at honest conversation about the future. And someone who’s not bitter or disappointed or frustrated about things they realize they can’t control.

“My future is one of them, and I’ve surrendered to what’s going to happen, and just confident in what I bring to the table and how I played last year. Everything is for speculation and I’m sure there’ll be plenty of it.”

We all know whats coming. The only real question is if Love will be ready to take over after next season. Be prepared for GB to look like NE did this year.

I've never heard of an asset that is sentient, controls its own performance and sets its own monetary value. Which is to go back to the hill I will die on with this issue, that Rodgers is as much at fault for not winning more SB than anyone else.

Also the age old question, is it High Lives or High Lifes?
I believe one is a High Life. I need High Lives.

BB blames his dog for the draft busts.
