No, he dropped a pass. That happens....it’s one play. One thing in never questioned on 17 was effort.i do.
you're old enough to have heard "defense wins championships". the packers have not had a good defense in almost a decade.Exactly. Look, it’s not all on Rodgers. Of course Kevin King blew a bunch of plays that killed them. Will Redmond dropped an INT. Savage blew a chance for an INT. But the point is that Rodgers blew plays too. So I can’t sit there and say “the Packers wasted his career”. Rodgers wasted his own career to the same degree that anyone on defense did over the years. It’s a team sport! That stuff happens, it also seems to happen to Rodgers every time he’s close to the dance.
And 4 x when Rodgers had a top 15 defense he has lost in the playoffsyou're old enough to have heard "defense wins championships". the packers have not had a good defense in almost a decade.
There have been times in games when the defense let Rodgers down, and there have been times in games when Rodgers let the defense down. As Pack said, as recently as the 2020 NFCC the D had two straight turnovers and the O went 3 and out. Rodgers let them down! They failed to score, they failed to run down time, they failed to give the D a rest.you're old enough to have heard "defense wins championships". the packers have not had a good defense in almost a decade.
Correct.... 1 maybe, two NFC title games is bad luck but you had 3 whacks at it and went 0-3. He made some key errors in all 3. Now it's not all on him but he'll never ever live those down AND he's had other big game meh moments.Part of that reputation is that he doesn’t do everything he can in the biggest games.
This last one was devastating to his legacy. In 2016 and 2019 there was a legit sense that GB was lucky to be there, they were on the road against very superior teams and essentially ran into a buzz saw. This year was so different - legit 13-3, legit best team in the conference, at home. By hook or by crook he had to get it done and he just didn’t.Correct.... 1 maybe, two NFC title games is bad luck but you had 3 whacks at it and went 0-3. He made some key errors in all 3. And to be fair to Aaron they have really done nothing to date to up the ante. He's getting married and ready to settle down and that either......This last one was devastating to his legacy.
