Well yeah..... it goes back to they were trying to work a trade and must have come off as " We want him gone regardless" Once GB asking price came out (Too high more than likely) folks just waited for their shot once he was released. Wouldn't be the first time/player/team this happened too.
Very true. Draft picks as assets in the NFL are like gold. Allows teams to have financial control of player for 3-5 years and if they pan out they have the tag to keep more control. So you only think of giving one up with early round picks if it’s a true impact player.
 
Packers should have taken offer highest one they get ship him out outside of sending him in division. If you get a offer of a 5th or 6th take it.
