Packers 2024-25 Season Thread

In fact, attendance has been near-perfect for much of the offseason program. Only one player, cornerback Robert Rochell, was absent on Tuesday. Even players returning from injuries like tackle Zach Tom and tight end Tucker Kraft -- both of whom suffered torn pectorals while lifting weights this offseason and needed surgery -- plus tight end Tyler Davis (knee) and rookie safety Kitan Oladapo (toe) were in attendance.

Some of that, coach Matt LaFleur suggested, was because of Love.

"Oh, it's everything to us," LaFleur said Love's presence. "Our attendance here, I know we had one guy missing today for a personal matter, but we've had almost 100% the entire offseason, which has been the best that we've had since I've been here.

"And I always think when you look around the league, when your quarterback's there, it just naturally has a way of attracting everybody to come. We're still a very young football team as well, so these guys, they want to put in the work. We've got a lot of guys that love the game and love the process of grinding together and going through some tough things together. But to have him here, you can't put a value on that."

Sounds like Enagbare was a full OTA participant, with no restrictions, which was confirmed by MLF. Quite a 180 degree turn for him. At the end of the season we heard he'd torn his ACL. Then we heard it wasn't a torn ACL and that he'd likely be fine for training camp. Now he's 100% full go already for OTA's. No wonder they didn't address Edge in the draft.
That's a pretty interesting turn of events. I'd like to know how they initially assessed it as a torn ACL? Was that just from the on field typical Lachman or anterior drawer or did they see an anomaly on MRI? Don't get ne wrong, I'm happy as heck he didn't have a torn ACL but that ortho stuff interests me.

Could it have been a minor tear in the ACL were there was no surgery needed and just time for it to heal itself?

Slight tears often don't require surgery. I had one in both knees over the years, and never had surgery. I will admit though that as I've aged, I can feel it, and have a tender spot on both knees.

As I look back, I'd still play football, but in all honesty, knowing what I do now, I'd never let my boys hit that field under any circumstances.

They're using what he said as the catalyst for speculation. He made the comment that he had no idea what was going to happen between now and the start of the season, and they decided to infer that he'd sit out.

This is the crap that people need to quit their subscriptions to reading. When the media decides to "make the news."

Zero chance he sits out also I think zero chance season starts without a new contract. Also he may be wanting his own agent to wait to other QBs sign so they can go off that contract. No one wants to be the QB to go first and sell themselves short.

Packers’ Christian Watson said specialists determined he carried his strength asymmetrically. His right leg was significantly weaker than his left.
