Asked Matt LaFleur where #Packers need to improve to take a step down stretch. He says the magic word: “Consistency.”“It’s got to be every phase, every play just dialed in, doing your 1/11th. I think that’s when you realize your potential.”

The Packers had an issue with dropped passes last season, but nothing like this. They lead the league in both drops (26) and drop percentage (7.3%) and already have one more drop than they had in all of 2023 (when their 25 drops were tied for 10th most), according to ESPN Research. Green Bay has three players in the top 10 in drops. Dontayvion Wicks is No. 1 with nine drops, Jayden Reed is tied for second with seven, and Romeo Doubs is tied for ninth with five. -- Rob Demovsky

With our offensive line, we're lucky Love's still standing.

With our offensive line and butterfinger receivers it's amazing we've got 9 wins.

as i have mentioned in the past, dropped passes seems to be a stat that varies from one site to another. according to profootballreference, wicks is tied for no. 3 with 8 drops, reed is tied for no. 6 with 7 drops, and doubs is tied for 12th with 6 drops. what i think is more important to look at is the percentage of drops. according to profootballresearch.com, wicks is tied for second highest percentage of drops with 14.3%. only kendrick bourne has a higher drop rate at 14.8%. reed has the 7th highest drop rate at 11.9%, and doubs is tied for the 9th highest rate at 11.3%. these numbers seem ridiculously high to me. if you are dropping more than 10% of the catchable passes thrown your way, you really need to up your game. that's just unacceptable.

for comparison sake, aj brown has zero dropped passes in 66 targets. tyreek hill has one dropped pass in 97 targets. puka nacua has one dropped pass in 75 targets. terry mclaurin has one dropped pass in 82 targets. the only standout among the packers wide receivers is watson, who has only one drop in 45 targets.

I think the Packers WR's are more concerned with YAC and are more focused on that than actually catching the ball first.

They need an attitude adjustment.

They do amazing things which is fantastic. But, they don't consistently do good things to make the Packers offense work.
