They do a fair job picking offensive talent but are historically very poor on defensive picks. They need to evaluate talent better...yeah that's a captain Obvious answer but some of their picks make you wonder

I agree it's not a great return on that contract and next season needs to be his last, but it's not even close to being the worst. After missing Thursday's game Alexander has now missed 30 out of 68 games since he has signed his contract. This contract is turning into perhaps the worst contract GB has ever given out. With the money being paid and missing nearly 50% of the games.
whoa. thanks for the memories.I agree it's not a great return on that contract and next season needs to be his last, but it's not even close to being the worst.
A few that come to mind - Jimmy Graham, Sammy Watkins, Martellus Bennett, Joe Johnson, that last Aaron Rodgers contract, and of course the infamous Bahk contract. Not saying those last 2 were bad players, just enormous contracts that didn't work out very well. By comparison, the JA contract is just a "meh" deal and doesn't really hamstring the team too much.
True the Bak contract could be and is likely the worst deal with him getting hurt like a week after signing it.I agree it's not a great return on that contract and next season needs to be his last, but it's not even close to being the worst.

It was the worst return on value contract but I will forever be pedantic about this and insist that GB did not err in the least in giving out that contract. Both parties did everything right, just bum luck and the randomness of the human body.True the Bak contract could be and is likely the worst deal with him getting hurt like a week after signing it.
it's not like he's awesome. it's just that he's a lot better than awful.Considering how poorly GB has done at K in the past few years I’d say McManus should be a high priority to resign….
