I agree, FlPack I know where your getting the "they pay their own" but that source is extremely biased and frankly completely blew the Rodgers situation two years in a row....or did hei understand cap constraints. i simply gave two examples of where the packers failed to "pay their own" for players who are considered among the best at their position. there have been other examples and i know you can think of several. i just thought that was a curious statement to make about a team that has - on many occasions - let some pretty high-powered talent walk away because they didn't want to pay them.


GB pays only certain players it deems fit their standard and that hasn't always worked well in the past 30 years. I know everyone thinks I am a Debbie downer but the franchise hasn't won anything in over a decade yet they take the same approach. That in itself bears scrutiny that frankly no one wants to put out there.
