I agree. They're kind of like scotch whiskey. You have to acquire a taste for it. If you work next door to a distillery that makes it, it's not necessarily your choice of drinks.Packers would never come close to getting taxpayer support to build a practice center.
Also as you mentioned the stadium barley passed by the skin of their nose. Packers come ask the city to help pay for just a practice center so the players can have al nice bells and whistles working out? They would be laughed at by taxpayers.I agree. For Miami though how much was off-set by sponrship of build and such. I think GB would have harder time being GB for people to want naming rights to sponsor a practice center. Not sure how we got off the rail on the funding sources for a new practice center.
I was kind of thinking that GB would use it's credit facility it is opening along with some money from the NFL credit facility as well as some corporate sponsorship/support. I wouldn't ask for any referendum.
For what the Phins built for $135M, I'd guess GB could build for 20% less, mostly because of real estate cost.
And I don't think any corporate sponsorship would make up a large % of the overall cost. For Miami though how much was off-set by sponrship of build and such. I think GB would have harder time being GB for people to want naming rights to sponsor a practice center.

Exactly. Your not going to push a referendum for a practice facility. That’s just bad business. There is a reason that they are looking at a credit facilityNot sure how we got off the rail on the funding sources for a new practice center.

I’m not even convinced the new facility is in Brown County. Hell Carolinas is in South Carolina. Also as you mentioned the stadium barley passed by the skin of their nose.
