Watch yourself, he stunk.
That #82 he was going to a lot, reminded me of Coffman

Zero chance Benkert will be kept as 3rd QB. But do agree he will likely be offered a PS spot.Kinda late comments but I was out of town. I only watched the first half and most of the 3rd quarter.
- I thought Love was OK. Needs more time and work. Nothing to make me think he'll fail though, so that's a plus.
- O-line was bad at points in time. Nijman just doesn't seem good enough to play LT in the NFL. Kelly was just adequate. Myers looked pretty good for a rookie. Runyan was rough in spots.
- Funchess made a case for a roster spot, BUT, since he doesn't play special teams, is that the guy you want as your 5th/6th WR. That spot is usually reserved for a special teams contributor.
- Josh Jackson is just a cut waiting to happen. Bottom line, he just can't play. He's not quick or fast enough for CB. It's telling that I was wishing for Kevin King to play as I was watching Jackson.
- The running game was very ordinary. Poor run blocking was a big part of the problem. All the RBs had moments but nobody really stood out. Hill's TD catch was pretty well blocked and he did a nice job on that play. He probably has the inside track on the #3 RB spot.
- Vernon Scott looked good and made plays. I think he'll get some significant snaps this year if he continues to play like this. Might be an Amos replacement for 2022?
- Benkert started fast but fell to earth quickly. I think they'll try to get him on the PS.
- Special teams were anything but special. Hopefully this is just because they are running 4th stringers out there.
I'm sure there's more but I can't remember anything else. Maybe I'll be more timely next Sat.
