Jason Wilde tweeted that Leonhard was actually going to take an interview with the Packers? I don't think Leonhard would accept the offer of an interview if he was dead set on sticking with the Badgers. Sounds like some speculation there, but... que sera sera.

I would think if you want to climb the coaching ladder you would not turn down interviews even if you don’t really want that particular position.
You may get passed over in the future

Breaking new Mark Murphy in a way to try to get fans more invovled with the team announces that the team will not hire a DC. Instead they will select a fan DC of the game out of the crowd and be allowed to make the defensive calls for that game!

The scary thing is: there are plenty of fans (all teams) that really think they could do this better than the actual coaches.

I think it's probably safe to assume Leonhard and Evero are the top two at this point. They are young up-and-comers just like LaFleur when he got hired. Leonhard's work speaks for itself. Evero is well thought of and made a good impression during his year in GB. We'll see.
