Brewers 2022 Season Thread

See Willy tied Brewers record with 7 RBI's last night. Guy was on fire last night.

Brewers pitching staff on fire again last night.

1 run on 1 hit 7BB and 12K's

Brewers first time they had 3 starting pitchers in a row record 10+ SO each.

Last 3 games Brewers starting pitching 19.2 IP, 33 SO, 1BB, 6ER

now if the Brewers could just not be so dang streaky and find a way to score 9 runs one game and none the next.

Yelich is just god awful up there at the plate he's scared to swing. He jsut stands there now hoping to draw a walk struck out 3 straight pitches on a AB just looking at every one. He's getting $26 million to strike out in nearly 1/3 of his AB's.

He went 1-3 with a double. But let’s focus on one AB. His swing is much better than last year but hey we need a whipping boy 24 games in. Carry on

He's also striking out at a 30% rate. Just saying during his MVP years seems Yelich was more aggresive at the plate and went after pitches more. Get that down under 20% and have him hit at .least .270 and I am happy.

Though congrats to Rowdy Tellez sets new Brewers franchise record with 8 RBI's in the game last night vs Reds.

And again that’s as much of an MLB number as just Yelich. His swing is much better this season.

Going to be interesting if Brewers try to buyout last 2 years of Adames Arby years and see if he would sign a long term deal.
