Badgers upset by Washington State

Over 1/3 of their forward progress wiped out by penalties. You can't live with 2 steps forward, and one step back. Drives die with the penalties. Especially if you don't have real play makers in the passing game.
Exactly. And the vast majority of that was on the OL, Allen had a chop block called also.

They can get it cleaned up and they'll be rolling fine

except it really wasn't a chop block. Allen was blocking low, but the the lineman turned and bumped the guy Allen was blocking and it looked like a chop block.

By rule if 2 offensive guys engage at the same time they thrown the flag. Bump of pancake it gets a flag

How's everyone feeling now after the shellacking of NMSU? Badgers just getting rolling. Was a Good game to see how the fixes went during the week. Now the just have to keep the momentum rolling.

They played a team that had no chance to compete. Tell me how they look next week when playing OSU. If they keep it within a 10 point loss that will be a win

Some good things but NM State isn't a great measuring stick, Let's see how the Big ten schedule treats us.

The Badgers should have run all over NM State. It was David vs Goliath, and David didn't have a slingshot.

4 Things
  • Once Bortolini and Wedig got in the game on the right side the running game opened up. Logan Brown is a disappointment
  • Guerendo looked like an asset, hope he is over the injuries
  • Small sample size but Burkett had some poise. Not the best arm but again small sample size
  • The west is awful. Minnesota and Wisconsin probably 1-2 but it’s not like Goldy played anyone. Colorado might be the worst team in P5. Let me be more clear. The conference is awful after OSU and Michigan
