2024 Draft Thread

Safety is essential. That would be a real catch. Barton has been playing LT I believe, and has quick feet. What makes him attractive early is that he has the potential to play both guard and right tackle positions in my opinion because he has that foot speed.

My hope is that we see a situation where best player available is also a guy who fits into our needs. That would make it a super draft.

Day 1 and 2 picks now locked in

GB had pick number 25 on day one and picks 41, 58, 88, and 91

Going to be intersting if GB keeps all those picks or if Gute uses them as fire power to move up to get a guy.

I think it comes down to whether there is a particular guy that's a major "fit" for the team. If that guy is there, move up, but I'm not seeing who that would be right now. They don't need a QB. They don't really need one of those top-15 pick WR's. If they really think they really need a top OT, that might make sense.

Their biggest needs are S, RB, IOL, CB, and LB in my opinion. With swing tackle and DT/NT as secondary needs. Those will all be available at the spots they are drafting so I don't see why they would move up buy hey maybe there is "that guy" that Gute and MLF just have to have in the middle of Rd1.
