2024 Badger Football Thread

If he does sign which it seems he likely will I wonder what the NIL figure is going to be.

P.S. to all if you think relying on a true freshman QB next year is good idea .... well good luck with that. Our freshman QB NEED to redshirt and then sit. UW needs to develop a 3 star or 2 and mold them... throwing guys in the mix early isn't a great idea college or pro ball. My opinion on this whole fiasco.

I don't actually want to rely on a true freshman QB, but if he has better skills he should start, and after what we've seen, its hard to believe that a D1 Power Conference Recruit at least a 60% of the way to the top program doesn't have better skills.

Perhaps it's coaching and preparation? We're always making excuses - he's new, he's learning, he's figuring out, there's a learning curve. Lots of or at least some other transfers and recruits seem to walk in an Get 'Er Done!

We need somebody to step in  Wilsonlike and Get 'Er Done!

Regarding molding a 3 or 2 star, I'm all for it. But what do we do now? Just throw away 2 years? And, who do we have to coach them up? Based on the regression and failure to improve of whoever we trot out at QB, we don't have that guy. So, maybe what we need is a true QB coach?

And, who's assessing the talent for recruiting? It's more than just money. We seem to be over paying for what we get.

Bucky Football is FUBAR'd on apparently thousands of levels.

So screw all that negativity from earlier posts, it's Bucky Football Day and time to Husk and Pop some corn!!!

Don't know how, but we're scoring over 34 and they're not scoring 24.

Go Bucky, make an old fat man eat crow!

pathetic defense and terrible FG unit cost us this game.

I'll have to re-watch the game, but giving up 44 to Nebraska after holding down both PSU and Oregon tells me you have no heart. Sounds like bad coaching and a gutless performance combined account for this loss.

Wisconsin's 407 yards are its most in a regular season loss since that disastrous afternoon at Illinois in 2019.

i think i said this after the last game: yards don't win games.
