They need to work it hard, because even if you don't get kids early, your name is out there and becomes one that people will respect. Eventually you'll start getting these top players if you do it right.
 
Badgers have gotten a "portal" commitment from Brandon Lane, DT, 6'3", 300#. Last played at Stephen F Austin. Flirted briefly with MSU and Loouisville before commiting to UW, so had kind of a roundabout route to Madison. Has 2-3 years of eligibility remaining. Will provide immediate depth this fall.

MSU went down the tubes the moment he found out he couldn't even get enough money to by a six-pack of beer through NIL. They are really going to be hurting.
