2023 Draft Thread

The Packers don’t need a high round WR… Arod needs a high round WR who can catch anything thrown his way.

If Love is QB and runs the system I don’t think you need the WR as much as they need the TE…

They need both....and another starting safety and an OT. This was NOT a playoff contending team last season...I am 100% the talent needs improving more than it's an Arod, Love or ML issue.
 
Sounds like none of the WR's ran impressive 40 times today.

The 40 yard dash is an over rated metric. most teams don’t need people who can run fast in straight lines. They need guys who can run routes and play smart and can catch the ball.

I think just compared to other years whenhad guys running low 4.3 or high 4.2

There weren't any 4.2's this year but it wasn't really that slow of a group overall. Last year there were 8 guys who ran 4.4 or less from what I can see. This year there were also 8 guys who ran 4.4 or less. Plus there was a big group that ran 4.41 - 4.49 this year - which is plenty fast for a WR. There weren't as many "spectacular" times this year so it's not a great group from a pure speed perspective, but it's still overall a decently fast group.

Not only speed, these guys have the size to play tough on the field. Not the normal 6-2, 185# speedster we see.
 
So crazy idea. Rodgers announces he is returning to GB for at least 2023. Packers knowing they can't keep love as Rodgers could decide to stick around in 2024 trade him for what they get. Anthony Richardson is there at 15. GB drafts him to replace Rodgers in 2024 or 2025.

NO!!! Richardson while a freak athlete couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. And no they aren't trading Love this year regardless so it's a moot point.
