It's early but what the hell, pour a cold one, and let's start vetting some folks. Hopefully, the dumbbells in GB are way ahead of us on this.

If GB ends up top 10 possible guys?

QB: Will Levis
DL: Jalen Carter and Bryan Breese
OL: Peter Skoronski and Paris Johnson
Edge: Miles Murpy and Will Anderson
WR: Quentin Johnston and Jordan Addison

RB and DB and ILB will not be considered if picking in top 10.

If they draft a WR this year top 10 the entire scouting department needs to be fired on the spot

None of the guys they have now are a #1 WR they can draft one go ahead.

Sorry no. Maybe 15-20.

I get what you're saying, I'm not sure there's a top-10 WR either, but sometimes it comes down to how players are tiered and how much truly top-tier talent there is at the top. The difference between say 10 and 15 is pretty subjective if there aren't clear "difference making" talents still available.

This isn't the deepest draft at the top this year. If the Packers are drafting say at #12, they may decide Addison or Johnston or Smith-Njigba (if you are OK with his injury issues) might make sense there because everyone else that's there isn't all that special either and the players are pretty similar between 10 and 20. Happens pretty regularly in the draft where a guy goes 10 slots higher than you'd think in Rd1.

True and system plays in a bit. Out of the 3 you listed Johnson makes the most sense. He’s 6-3 and plays more physical, Addison is probably more athletic but also comps closer to what Watson brings, he needs to get more physical. Smith-Njigba, it’s basically one game vs Utah and injuries are an issue. Personally Johnson probably is off the board past 5 -7 so if your 8-9-10 how much of a reach is it

Also, if / when a new DC is aboard what pieces do you need for that system compared to what you have now. As to offense, you obviously need OL help, RB is adequate, better if you figure out the numbers on 33, TE is probably a need. Lazard is more valuable to GB than the open market so if he’s back, while WR is a need is it a round 1 need
