2023 Draft Thread

Still can't see a WR at 15 not after taking Watson last year at 34 and Doubs looks like he could fill role of a #2.

Not sure I see a WR in Rd1 either, but I wouldn't rule it out depending on how things fall. I would never have thought Walker or Wyatt would have been Rd1 guys last year. The Packers don't take ILBs in Rd1 and they don't take "older" players like Wyatt in Rd1.

The thing is, they desperately need at least one more play-maker at WR. A guy who can play outside and in the slot and get open quickly and make people miss would be nice. Neither Watson or Doubs are that guy. If the draft falls badly maybe Smith-Njigba is BPA at #15 (or maybe they trade down a few spots). I don't think they'd just rule him out because they have Watson and Doubs, even though I'm not really in favor of him at #15.

IMO, they still need a truly talented slot guy and a bigger possession receiver to replace Lazard. I don't really care which round they get them in and hopefully they don't either.

I wonder how many 1st round picks of the Packers during the Gutey reign, were even talked with? Isn't it Gutey's MO to select 1st rounders he hasn't spoken with?
