2023 Draft Thread

Is it just me or does it seem like the draft coverage is worse than ever this year? Oversaturated coverage of the QBs but every other position I don't feel like I have a good sense of who is better than who. I can't tell you why Nolan Smith wouldn't be good at 15, he seems about as good as any of a group of 5 edge guys if they're going to draft an edge there.

I don’t think it’s a particularly strong draft overall. So there isn’t much storyline to push in terms of first round etc… just not great overall talent to talk about.

biggest thing on Smith is he's coming off a injury. He's a guy who's been projected mid teens to end of the 1st. If GB drafted him I would not be upset. GB needs an Edge Preston Smith is gone after this year most likely and no one can guarantee Gary will return to what he looked like last year.

Maybe that's it. I have strong feelings about maybe 1-2 players, but outside of that it won't bother me one way or the other who they pick, guys seem flawed in different ways.

This would be a interesting draft. JSN off the board the top 3 OT off the board. At this point if Gonzalez was there at 15 I could not complain about that pick. Even more so with the question marks around Stokes.

If GB wants JSN I think they need to move up to 10 where the Eagles pick. I thought Johnston could be an option but he posted some terrible agility drill numbers and GB values that stuff. IMO JSN is the only real first round WR.

Thing is would you be wiling to give up a 2nd to go get JSN maybe even more if Eagles say we want a 2nd and a 3rd/4th?

I don't know. Just saying, I can't see him lasting past then. Hell, the Bears could take him at 9.
