2023-24 Milwaukee Bucks Season Thread

Guess we know why Jimmy Butler was crying tampering as Dame agent reached out to the Bucks and Nets 10 days before the Bucks trade to say he would have interest in playing for both teams.
 
Maybe the Bucks could trade Dame to Miami for Herro, and Adebayo? :) Throw in a couple of 2nds so we can get some table scraps over the next 5 years?
 
Reading more sounds like Portland and Miami had not talked much since July. Miami was offering up to 3 1st round picks and filler to trade for Dame and wanting to send Herro to a 3rd team. Portland had zero interest in the picks and players Miami offered.

Bucks picks interested more because they are likely to be better picks in 6-7 years from now then Miami would give and they got Holiday which holds more value in a trade then had they wanted to get Herro.

Well, that would also indicate that Miami tampered first . . . .
 
See now some of the talking heads saying did the Bucks really improve much if at all with this trade. They are really talking up Holiday saying he's one of the best in the league at defense and is not a bad shooter while saying Dames D is bad and while he's a better shooter is there that much of a difference overall and they don't see this changing MKE chances at winning the title.
 
Report out that Dame had meet with Portland GM earlier this month and said if he can't get traded to the Heat he would like to take back his trade request and play this year in Portland. Portland GM told him that was not going to happen.
 
By the time the snow flies up North, we're going to know if getting Dame in a Bucks uniform was a good idea.
