2021 Badgers Football Thread

The cupboards are bare all over this team pressing issues all over
All over ? No. Defense from 7 is more than adequate, TE is fine, RB is average. Glaring is OL and WR

I can picture a battle between Myles Burkett and Wolf for the job next fall.........

shots)shots)shots)shots)shots)
Another round please?
Hill is a better option than either of those 2

Well then expect a 6-6 or 7-5 again next year because you fail to try to improve.
2022 schedule is much more favorable. They don’t get 3 top 10 teams out of the gate

And let’s look back. What were the 3 differences between this team and the RB team? An elite RB, a big body WR who could run routes and separate and an adequate OL. Put those 3 on this team it beats PSU and ND and the natives are not restless

Maybe. It depends on what they ask him to do. If it's to act as a conduit to hand the ball off, he won't stick around either. He's a pro style QB.

The “pro style “ label is really overblown to be honest. How many P5 schools even run true pro sets? Unless you want to change the overall philosophy of UW football Spencer Rattler or Stroud is not walking into Kellner Hall anytime soon. And what 4-5 star QB has made his mark in the B1G the last 10 years? Maybe Fields but he was a transfer.

Conjecture my friend, conjecture. We won't know about anything until it happens.

Conjecture on what? That the conference in general does not attract “pro style” kids with 4-5 stars on their resume? A couple went to Michigan and we’re flops and a couple at OSU & that’s it. The conference is a tough sell outside of OL and RB

That wasn't what we were discussing. The question was whether or not kids will enter the portal.
