Love's performance was not that different from Arods first action in his first few years.
I saw a kid who didn't back down. He has things to work on. But overall he needs game reps. Not scout squad reps.

To be honest, I'm not certain I'd mind if Rodgers had to sit out a second game. I'd like to see what kind of progress there would be in Love's game.
At the end of the year, we're still going to be in the playoffs, unless Rodgers totally blows it.

You just don’t develop chemistry in 1 week. Way to much to ask. 17 had opportunities that he and Rodgers complete in their sleep. Some is mechanics some is timing some is chemistry and some is nerves. The game was to fast for him Sunday.

2022 is Love's 3rd year in the NFL Packers will be facing a very costly choice to apply a 5th year tag on Love which will cost over $20 million dollars for that year so they will need to know if he is there guy or not so no matter what he is playing next year

Or they could offer him a 3 year deal which makes it cap friendly and buys time. Not even thinking about 5th year option now

Really helpful, in real time I didn't remember him having so many guys in his face with poor pass pro and pick up. Troy Aikman gave Love so much crap for missing a wide open Adams late in the game but I didn't realize the blown stunt had Frank Clark running free right into Love's face. Frankly the announcers should do better with this sort of stuff, it would provide necessary context.
I do wonder though, have the OL and backs come to rely too much on Rodgers being perfect with his pass pro calls at the line. With Love at QB that's got to change, you can't expect a guy in his first career start to be able to operate the thing like Aaron Rodgers.
