Be careful to make this a 100% Rodgers thing. There will be players dissatisfied with Gute, Murphy and Ball and agents have taken notice. They set a precedent. If the team wins some of Rodgers drama will be mitigated.

Adams has 100% power now after seeing Rodgers win he can say well pay me because you want to keep #12 happy

Need new GM and President come in say well that's old regime we wont be walked over don't like it there is the door.
 
Since the moment Murphy announced how he was going to micromanage the operation by having everyone report to him, some of us stated it was going to blow up in their faces. The time has come. They've finally destroyed themselves in the front office.

Will heads roll? Probably not, but if anyone is offered up as the sacrifice it will be Gutekunst. He's the one who's most vulnerable. The fact is, Gute is probably nothing more than a yes man to Murphy. It all falls back on Murphy's ability to manage people.

I’ve been on record that ruling with an iron fist does not work in today’s environment. What’s more important is creating a culture where this distrust and philosophical issues don’t happen again.

Team can tag him so he does not have absolute power and leverage. Unlike 12 he’s not pulling the retirement card

Yes and no, remember your GM just said they stole from Peter to pay Paul and that means major changes will need to happen in the future AKA we can't afford to keep everyone. That won't go over well with every player and they are well aware of who drove that bus...winning might help but it's still a business

I can see a tag though him saying screw that I won't play under a tag force team to trade him then to team he wants to go to.
