Are the A's on the move?

I think it's first step in showing owners want out of TB.
I thin they would prefer to stay. But no county will build a facility for 40 games and all the recent “renderings” have been for an open air stadium which is not feasible. The political dynamic in that area is nothing i have ever seen

I think a new stadium they would be there full time but they don't that's when owners will want to start to split games

Well that’s obvious. It’s never going to split. It’s not feasible

Speaking of figuring something out will be interesting to see what happens with Timberwolves as it seems the current owner is trying to force some kind of committment out of new owners to stay in MN and I think no one wants to give that.

True you need rest of time to build new stadium if they are going to move.
And how to pay for it. Most likely some sort of tax referendum or bond play and in this environment it’s not a simple solution

Even the Packers had to fight to get money for the renovations. Despite what we personally feel, not everyone is a football fan, and there are a lot of people who wish it would go away. In some areas, the numbers that would attend games isn't high enough to translate into votes to carry a referendum.
