I know back in 90's Seilig was threating to move Brewers to Virgina unless he got a stadium.

Brewers got lucky Seilig though was able to buy the Pilots out of bankruptcy otherwise I doubt MKE ever gets a team. Fun fact the Brewers colors were orginally the Pilots colors becuase the team got to MKE so late they had no choice but to use the Pilots old uniforms and just put Brewers on the front.
