Final Roster ?

moncrief is washed up. he's a guy that i wanted the packers to draft, but the jets cut him less than a week after he signed a contract with them.
Well if that's the case guess we have to accept Packers have Adams and a bunch of 3 through guys who should not even be on a roster talent at WR

I have no idea what they are doing, to be honest.... why in the world ML didn't make a scheme change after the SF game is a mystery

There's the whole thing in a nutshell. When you get blown out that badly, there is something dramatically wrong with what you're doing. "Tweaking" doesn't fix a melt down. If he figures the personnel was the problem, why didn't he address the problem in the draft and free agency?

I'm not at all impressed with where they're going to be honest. I was totally floored at how well they did last year, but when you can't compete against a contender, you're still just someone who's running with the pack, not out front.

for one hot moment, it looked like he might move on from pettine. i think pettine must have told him that he could make it work with the guys he had and this is his prove-it year.
Matt is waiting for his brother to become available.

Maybe the plan is for the star QB to not turn it over three times in the NFCCG.

GB made no waiver claims, Dallas claimed Malik Turner. Since no teams claimed either Treyvon Hester or Will Sunderland they now officially land on the Packers' Reserve/Injured list. They are not eligible to return this season.

I think they surprise and do well again this year. The doom and gloom is almost funny to see as its the same ones complaining year after year. Another year experience under LeFleur will make a big difference. I dont believe they ran hardly 50% of the new offense last year and the defense will also improve. If they get alot of injuries this year, that will hurt as it would any team. I just dont get the negativity after going 13-3 and 1 game from a super bowl in our new coaches first season.

as they say on all of the investing forums: past performance is not an indication of future results (or something to that effect).

having said that, those of us who had optimistic projections of last year's record, were certainly closer to the results than those who projected 8-8, 9-7, or 10-6. i'm still optimistic about this year's chances, but i have to agree with those people who point out the fact that we have done nothing in the draft or free agency to improve the team, and in fact we lost a couple of valuable players. so we have to count solely on improvement from within.

The players we had last year will be better.

First of all the offense will have experience in the new system. Second, all those young players will have another year of exprtience.

The lack of offseason will favor us? Not to jinx. We have most of our starters returning from last year.

PACKERS' PRACTICE SQUAD :
Stanford Samuels
Krys Barnes
Delontae Scott
Reggie Begelton
Tipa Galeai
Darrius Shepherd
Dexter Williams
Willington Previlon
Robert Foster ( WR from the Bills)
Alex Light

i think there is a good possibility that our offense will be better. defense? i doubt it.
