Then you guys spent some time at Indian Crossing Casino in King, I'd guess. We lived just down the road from there in King. Some fantastic summers. We'd arrive at the Casino by boat, and would spend entire days on the lake and in the Casino.

If Brewers had them and lost them shows you what crap show Badgers are.

Not as much as you think.... outside of pizza at the wheelhouse or chasing girls at Clearwater harbor we considered the rest too touristy. Had several smaller and private lakes we tended to go too.

Yes - that pretty much sums it up!

We were on the lake, had our own pontoon, so we could go over and enjoy the entertainment. I was married, so chasing girls was out! LOL

The area was always so active. It just came to life on Memorial Day weekend, and stayed that way through Labor Day. Still a great place in the fall though. That was before snowmobiling was big. It was a great 3 years living there. Off season was time spent at JR's tipping a few.

No shock it’s official as reported prior

I grew up in Stevens Point, and was at UWSP while Dick was there (a few years before Terry Porter). The success that Dick had at UWSP - yes, he was a big deal in Point. And the Soderbergs were also well known in Point - Brad's father coached the basketball team at Pacelli, the catholic high school in town.

Arctic Fest was a big deal in Point. Although it had nothing to do with basketball.

If it included drinking a lot of Point beer, I would have been in! br)

local radio guys were talking about this story today. The Madison/Wisconsin focused shows all seemed to think that things were leaning Wisconsin's way until the sudden shock. I slightly discounted it until the Milwaukee focused shows/hosts brought up the same talking points but from JS sources as well.

It certainly seems like Wisconsin thought they had it wrapped up then something changed suddenly that was outside of the Badgers' control.
