Not as much as you think.... outside of pizza at the wheelhouse or chasing girls at Clearwater harbor we considered the rest too touristy. Had several smaller and private lakes we tended to go too.Then you guys spent some time at Indian Crossing Casino in King, I'd guess. We lived just down the road from there in King. Some fantastic summers. We'd arrive at the Casino by boat, and would spend entire days on the lake and in the Casino.

I grew up in Stevens Point, and was at UWSP while Dick was there (a few years before Terry Porter). The success that Dick had at UWSP - yes, he was a big deal in Point. And the Soderbergs were also well known in Point - Brad's father coached the basketball team at Pacelli, the catholic high school in town.
Arctic Fest was a big deal in Point. Although it had nothing to do with basketball.
