With the 29th Overall Pick in the 1st Round the Green Bay Packers select Eric Stokes

We do Brit Box too. We actually prefer more shows from Britbox than any of the networks.
Yep, I think we make good use of it. I like the old Sherlock Holmes shows too

Eric Stokes will be number #21 in GB.

Jaire on one side, King on the other, Stokes covering the slot. At least it appears that the Pack filled a need with a guy who could start or make a situational impact. fingers crossed.

PFF has some occasionally odd rankings of draft picks. Doesn't make them wrong, but also doesn't make them the definitive source for reaches.

For example, they have Walker Little, OT as #26 overall on their board. This is a guy who hasn't played football in about 2 years due to injury and a Covid opt out. I'm sure in some analytical sense this makes sense to PFF, but NFL franchises consider this "other" stuff in overall evaluations.

So reading that the Saints had tried to move up into the top 10 to get Horn or Surtain. When they were on the board at 28 they decided not to take Stokes which shows that they did not value him like GB did.

Eric Stokes' contract breakdown: Total: Four years, $11,925,514 (with fifth-year option). Total guarantee: $11,834,066. Signing bonus: $6,033,100. Base salaries: 2021 -- $660,000 (guaranteed), 2022 -- $1,202,069 (guaranteed), 2023 -- $1,744,138 (guaranteed); 2024 -- $2,286,207 ($2,194,759 guaranteed). Note: Last year's 29th overall pick (Isaiah Wilson, TENN) had 81.37% of his fourth-year salary guaranteed. Stokes has 96% of his Year 4 base guaranteed.
