One other tidbit of trivia is that it’s been about 25 yrs since a QB who won the MVP has also won the SB in the same year.if it makes you feel any better, i was looking at spotrac numbers, which are offered up in many different ways. i looked at 2021 cap hit, total cash, base salary, and aav. none of the top five in any of those measures won the super bowl.
Guess will we will agree to disagree I think GB should have moved on you think smart move to keep 12In 2021 one QB was still on a rookie contract. I would love to see more data points than one season and see if the “highest paid” won a Lombardi that year. One other point. You can’t view contracts in the prism of one year because you can manipulate numbers front and back load.
That's all Rodgers seems to care about anymore how many MVP's he can end up withOne other tidbit of trivia is that it’s been about 25 yrs since a QB who won the MVP has also won the SB in the same year.
So we got that going for us as well.
yes, but not the qb that won.In 2021 one QB was still on a rookie contract.
well, i'm definitely not going to put that kind of effort in.I would love to see more data points than one season and see if the “highest paid” won a Lombardi that year.

Yes it’s impossible to compare. Contracts are also based on current market value so if some QB is in year 2 of a 5 year deal there is no methodologyyes, but not the qb that won.
well, i'm definitely not going to put that kind of effort in.
so basically, with this point of view, it is impossible to compare. but i think if you could come up with a methodology that met your approval, you would find that it is pretty rare that the highest paid qb won the super bowl.
And you know this how? First all he cares about is money, now it’s how many MVP’s. Next what will it be how many State Farm commercials can he tape ?That's all Rodgers seems to care about anymore how many MVP's he can end up with
i think that's a given.Next what will it be how many State Farm commercials can he tape ?
Well Money wise he's never take a bargin deal it's all about being highest paid player in NFL. MVP's is his legacy thats how people will remember him for if he can tie or beat Manning for most everAnd you know this how? First all he cares about is money, now it’s how many MVP’s.
