Rodgers Wants Out

Yes the Packer organization has spoken but the Packer organization has also done it’s fair share of leaking stories on this fiasco also. While Murphy & Gute was out there preaching to the public and the media that they are dealing with his contract, the organization was also flying its collective management team out to LA to play damage control. Now our Diva QB not without blame here, far from it.

Personally I don’t think there are many discrepancies at all. What is missing is the entire story which goes well beyond money and Kumorow getting released. What ever happened did not just pop up and if the organization thought money was going to solve this they are mistaken.

Just get the gorilla in the room out there, he wants a trade and he wants out. It’s no secret around the league, agents and players are about as gabby as The Real Housewives. The damage has already been done, the distraction is there so it’s time to fix it. It’s time for the organization to cut bait now, the “brand” is more important than one player. Mark has said it and many of us have to. This divorce will make the Favre drama look like Romper Room. It’s already is worse
This is just heating up, If Aaron wants to put it to bed he can at anytime call any reporter or group of them and simply say " We have resolved our differences ..see you at training camp" Done. His silence speaks volumes about all this.

We still have time before it goes critical but if we get to camp in a stalemate ?? Oh boy.

And that’s a bad business move. I’ve said it earlier, a retired Rodgers is more dangerous than a traded Rodgers. At some point his skills will decline or an issue will come up and GB is validated. He’s retired he still spouting the narrative
Well I am not catering to him and taking a low offer just to make him happy. I trade him for highest offer. If he retires because he does not want to go there then that's on him and makes him look like a selfish ass that only wants to play on his terms and he made the choice to take his ball and go home.

I think you see a trade shortly after June 1st if it no way to fix it but if it's close to camp I think it could mean there is a better chance things are going to get worked out.

I might be wrong but I think it’s too late if you wait much longer. I get the 6/1 dynamic. I just don’t see how his persona gets him to make that statement

GB has to try to make an attempt to make it work if they just say screw it and trade him they get blasted for not trying. If they try they can say well we tried Rodgers just does not want to be a Packer anymore

It’s a dangerous precedent to set on multiple levels. Sure take the best offer is a given but to get nothing back is bad business. And no, cash and cap is not in the not the best compensation

Just saying though if lets say team he wants to go to offers me a 2nd and say a team he does not want to go to offers a 1 I trade him to the team offering the one call his bluff on him that he would retire he does retire then he looks like the bad guy.

Problem is some fans think this is fantasy football and the financial stuff is irrelevant. No it’s a business, you make the best deal possible for ALL parties involved and move on
Don’t you get the feeling that sometimes, some owners, also think this is fantasy football?
Mr Snyder, are you listening?
