Rodgers Wants Out

“Aaron Rodgers has no bones against Jordan Love, let’s be clear about that. He has no issue with Jordan Love. He has an issue with how the team decided to draft Jordan Love, with the organization that decided to fire his quarterback coach without telling him. Rodgers has an issue with them picking the GM when he lobbied for another player (in the GM race). He has an issue with them cutting Jake Kumerow one day after he went before the start of the 2020 season saying ‘I trust this guy, he is going to be a big part of our team.’

“So this is not an Aaron Rodgers problem, it is a Packers problem.

No it does sound like it's a Rodgers problem that Rodgers is a giant diva who thinks he can have whatever he wants and throws a fit like a 2 year old when told no he can't.
I dont see him in that light, not thrilled how he went about this but never publicly asked for any control of anything. Yeah its complicated but its philosophical

Just a brief point...because it wasn't done publicly doesn't make it so. Yes, I know you know but let's keep the situation in the context it derserves. Both sides have handled this like a pair of bulls in a china shop.

Text book of "how not to handle your employment/employee" issue.

I get it. 95% of the time that stuff gets leaked, see Watson in Houston. And the GB PR machine is at best a sieve and has loose lips.

Take it for what it's worth! https://www.si.com/nfl/packers/gambling/las-vegas-sportsbooks-bracing-for-rodgers-retirement

Las Vegas sportsbooks are preparing for Aaron Rodgers to retire and not return to the Green Bay Packers.

Because of the importance of the reigning NFL MVP, Westgate SuperBook recently closed all its NFC North markets, including projected wins, playoff odds, divisional odds and weekly lines for the four division teams, one oddsmaker at the sportsbook said via a Twitter direct message.

Two other sportsbooks contacted after that initial message said the expectation is Rodgers is going to announce his retirement sometime before the first practice on Wednesday. In response, one of those sportsbooks pushed out its prices on the Packers to win the NFC North and shortened the odds for the other teams. It also shortened the odds of Patrick Mahomes winning NFL MVP.

Let him retire he will forever be remembered as the crybaby who took his ball and went home when he could not get his way.
And as he sits on his pile of money while smoking a joint on the beach he won't care care one bit what most people think.
