Rodgers, The Packers and Reality

I think that last piece is exactly what the team is trying to do, and it’s the cause of the rift with Rodgers. GB has him under contract and wants to go year to year. Rodgers wants more security and guaranteed money than just year to year.
Not sure it’s even year to year. 2021 is virtually guaranteed. The only year in question is if they would pick up a guarantee in 2022. 2023 is set up so team friendly that the organization would be foolish to touch it. It’s almost impossible to find “common ground” in this situation, Father Time is a factor

2022 I think all depends on how Love looks in the pre-season if he looks lost in the system I don't know how you can say then you can start him in 2022.

Disagree. It all depends if Rodgers is playing at a high level and overall team on field performance. I’m not going to judge or evaluate a kid on 3 basically scrimmage games and looking again like virtual OTA. If this team is 10-7 or so and 12’s numbers have dropped he’s gone, $25.5m reasons to make that decision

Lets say team goes 10-7 but he's normal Rodgers 35 TDs 8 INTs 3800 yards is that something you can walk away from?

Teams would kill for that QB. We'll be opening a door with a cocked boot.
Who? He better be the last piece to the puzzle and cap space to make it work. He’s 38 years old in December he’s not a long term investment

So if 2021 would be the end Would it possibly be these teams who would think that it could be win now in the next couple years that might want Rodgers? AZ, NOLA, Vegas, Indy, Tenn, Cleveland, NE?

If you don't win another SB with those numbers then you would need to market him and get what you can... they failed to do that with Favre.
I can agree with that. You might as well get something for losing the hot chick. But, if the Pack Front Office really is going to move away from our hot chick, shouldn't they be doing it now when she's really hot?

* I don't agree with moving on from Rodgers. But, if you're hell bent on being the reincarnation of the Bulls Front Office, at least try and get something.
