Postgame thread: Packers Lose To The Lions 24-14

I am going to go back and re-watch the game tonight but I am willing to give Love the benefit of the doubt since he has been injured most of this season. Not been 100%.

There does come a time though where we have to look at this more in depth. The Packers o-line has given up 12 sacks through 9 games. I understand that doesn't count pressures but that is second in the league. We are 4th in the league in rushing and are averaging 5 yards per carry. For the interior of the line being meh and Walker being inconsistent, this o-line has played pretty well over the first 9 games. Also, Love seems to be very jittery in the pocket and is not mechanically sound right now. That's just my opinion but somehow this needs to get better.

The drops are a huge problem and continue to be. It's mainly Wicks and Doubs that have been the problem.

The pre-snap penalties are unacceptable. False starts, illegal shifts, jumping offsides, and illegal motions are happening every game.

Hopefully, McManus just missed that one today and doesn't get into his head.

Let's hope this bye week we evaluate some things including a self scout with the coaches and turn this around a little bit. We are 6-3 and have had a lot of injuries.
Well said...that's on coaching. I know Mark may ban me but ML needs to get it handled

LaFleur said Love's INT started with a protection problem, but that he has to learn to throw it away and live another day. But he said, "I do think that's one of his strengths is his ability to make off-schedule (plays) and not wanting to give up on a play. I admire that."

#Packers coach Matt LaFleur said they will increase competition in practice and will be asking the players to look at themselves and improve in one area. "When we get back and have practice next Monday, there's got to be an intentionality behind that needing to be cleaned up."

Matt LaFleur on sloppy receiving yesterday: "When you look at some of the drops, our fundamentals weren't necessarily right on the way we coach it, the way we drill it."

A message from the senior Mod... Me

I'll be honest the over reaction is funny. Go back to the prediction thread and look most everyone had 11 or 12 wins. That's where GB is trending. Not 6 and something.

The NFL is hard, it's hard to stay consistent week in and week out. Too staying physically and emotionally sharp. That's the best October GB has had in forever, they come back with a brain fart game and oh my god the sky is falling LOL.

I really appreciate how passionate people on here are but there is a fine line between passionate and being a prick ( Bud's not included he gets to be a prick all the time)

Going back to a long standing issue here which is make your point and move on. Bud you can hate on whomever no ones going to ban you... they might tell you your wrong and why though.

Last thing well two things and I'll spare the big kauana from posting this, 1. Stop on here and shout mean stop. It's a rule here. Don't whine if you fail and get hammered.
2. THIS is coming from every one of the mods, some key members in the back and they guy who owns the place. If your not happy, just log off and take a break. Nothing we talk about here is worth a heart attack.

Now Continue with your Monday Breakdowns

Agree with ML. There hands are not out from their body. They are catching with their bodies or their hands are in the wrong positions. Use the triangle and put the point of the ball inside it. Ball is above your waste, thumbs down. Balls below your waste, thumbs up.

That's how I was always taught. sh))

Matt LaFleur on unsportsmanlike penalties (Nixon had one yesterday): "I take those very personally ... That's on me because I put you in a position to get that, so next time that happens, you can take your helmet and come stand right next to me and we'll watch the game together."
