Post-Game Eagles End Packers Season 22-10

Packers playing with house money. They were not expected to do anythig in playoffs and it was a very hard year in the NFC with so many teams playing well above their heads this year. Some players played well this year like Kraft and Tom. Had a couple rookies flash in Cooper and Williams. Lot of injuries to some key players this year. Some players regressed and if GB keeps them will have to play for playing time and a future contract next year. The off-season will be the first time since after the 2018 season that GB actually has cap room to go out and be a big player in FA after spending the last several years dealing with getting out of cap hell. Let's hope Gute makes some wise choices on who he keeps, who he cuts, who he extends, and whom he signs in FA. I think this team can be a 10+ win team again next year. So we need now to give it until March to see what we look like heading into FA.

-4 turnover margin = losses most every time. Lousy performance for much of the offense and special teams. They are the youngest team in the league and played like it tonight and during the season.

Still a lot to look forward to when you get to 11-6 despite all that and I'm sorry that's because of coaching not the lack of it which most people tend to forget.

They got about as far as they should have. Yes they went 0-5 against the top teams, but let's be real, there were some near losses in those wins too, against some not great teams.

They were a backside playoff team. They were interchangeably 4-7th depending on who you ask and by the end of the year they leaned more to 7th. If they were 6, sure maybe they beat the Rams I guess.

Lots of work to do but I think they're probably better than how people are going to act this off-season. I think Love's best is ahead of him still.

"Healed enough" kinda confirms my suspicion. Same as Rodgers 2019, you can remember how awful his deep ball game got. You use your upper body to torque through your deep throws when you have knee/ankle injuries. Hard to be accurate without proper footwork. We all know how Rodgers came back in 2020, hopefully Love builds that base back and stays healthy this year.

Disappointed yes but not surprised. Young teams make a lot of mistakes. Green bay made it through the glut of cap restrictions and other issues with two play off years which I can live with.

I had a feeling in preseason that this team was a little less than last year and they proved me right. Let's see if Gute can add 2 more star FA like last season that push us over the edge.

Have to go back and look at the tracking on this but he was not under center all that much, and he never - not one time - kept the ball on the zone read looks. His lower body was never right all year, the groin may have been as bad as the knee.

based on his track record, i'm not holding my breath. he hit the jackpot in 2024 with mckinney and jacobs. but i can recall a few other big-money free agents that never did anything for us. i agree with what mark said in shout at the end of the game: gute has not done a good job of bringing in the talent and depth that we need. and i fear that as long as he remains our gm, we will never get over the edge.
