Post Game Bears Beat GB 24-22

Maybe Mark can chime in on this.

Why are we rushing only 3 down lineman and we play man to man withe middle of the field wide open? I get keeping the sidelines covered but with 15 seconds if you play our normal zone and make Williams hold the ball a few more seconds it may be incomplete or they don't have time to down it.

Thoughts?
Pseudo prevent D, Why? I have no idea to be honest other than they have more trust in their CB than I do at this point. I would not have played cover 3/2 near as much as gb did today.

I think Hafley has done a decent job. His talent sucks and he's try a smoke and mirrors defense to get away with not having to expose how bad these guys really are.

ML on the severity of Christian Watson knee injury. "I'm not super confident on that right now".

The timid attitude starts with the HC, IMO. I don't know why ML has been so conservative/timid this year. It's not him, it's not who he's generally been for the last 6 years. But he's the leader of the team and I think the room reflects whatever is going on with him.

Again, I don't want to be crucified for my feelings about ML right now. He's the right coach for the team but I'm just looking at GB as if I wasn't a fan. It's a head scratching season. 11 wins is great. It feels like we left 1-3 wins on the table. I also realize we probably stole 2-3 wins because of his play calling, game planning, pulse of the team stuff. Maybe it evens out, but something just a little off.

Packers coach Matt LaFleur says thinking on third-and-11 that set up Bears field goal was to not allow first down, because next snap would be fourth down, and they couldn't spike football. He says safeties were "too deep" on the play.

It’s water under the bridge but who/how does a call get blown like that.

I am not sure how your players can get a call like that messed up so badly if you are communicating it properly. And I am sorry but ML needs to be on top of that as well. Why did he not call a TO when he saw the players set up the way they were?

IMO, this is on Hafley and ML.

I always wonder about this stuff. Do the players get that call, line up and think there’s something wrong but just go through with it anyway? I’m not putting blame on anyone in particular, just would love to know how that works in a huddle.
