Packers 2024-25 Season Thread

Interesting words and delivery by Tucker here. Something off on the locker room this year, something with the player mix ain’t right.

yeah. we got some guys like kraft, cooper, mckinney, jacobs, and maybe a couple others who don't just talk the talk. but we need a bunch more or these guys are going to want to move on.

Well, the locker room was fine at the end of last year.... who was added to it? A guy from the Raiders and Giants, both those teams have crap culture.
If you're looking for a "locker room "issue, look into who was added. Don't forget about Doubs's little temper tantrum, either.

One last note, I love Kraft to death but if you want to be a leader, talk that stuff in private not in front of your locker to the press.

i don't know. from what i saw of both those guys they were both extremely happy to be with the packers and both were fierce competitors on the field, putting forth their best seasons, so it is difficult for me to place the blame there.

one thing that puzzles me is the fact that when we knew we were going to face an opponent with our backup qb, ml and company were able to put together creative game plans to win both those games. and there were other times this season when i thought we saw some creative plays. but when the chips were on the line, we crawled into a conservative hole trying not to lose instead of going for the big win. i do understand that the level of competition was different in those cases, so maybe there was good reasons for the difference, but it sure looked like we were unprepared for the losses to the vikings, bears and eagles to end the season.

thats just it...you and I don't know. We really have no clue what goes on in that building except what you see on the field.

Alexander we saw in 2023 his ego got him benched for a game. Alexander seems like a guy who believes he's is great. At this point with all the injuries he's gone thru in the last 3-4 years even if he is healthy how good is he anymore? Nixon same way I think this guy also think he can be a CB1. There was a reason he was signed to be nothing more then a return man. I question if he no longer want to be a KR which to be honest he's never impressed me much. The new rules take the return game way down. At best I think he's a CB3 and more likely a CB4. Is it worth spending $6 million a year on a CB4?

Notice anything?
yeah, a few things.

good:
- the packers are the only team on that list that had winning records when they had the youngest team in the league.
- the only other team on that list that had the youngest two years in a row was the rams, who did eventually win a super bowl.

bad:
-the rams didn't win the super bowl until 6 years after they had the youngest team, and by then they had made wholesale changes in coaching staff and personnel, including trading away their starting qb.

i sincerely hope we don't take the same path as all those other teams.
