Packers 2024-25 Season Thread

My weekend picks - straight up:

AFC: Chargers, Steelers, Bills
NFC: Rams, Washington, Eagles

Chargers: Because they picked up Ezekial Elliot. No, just a hunch.
Steelers: No particular reason on Steelers than a gut feel that Wilson will pull a rabbit out of his hat. This opinion will probably be squashed by early third quarter.
Bills: Suffering too long to screw up opening weekend.

Rams: Completely different team than when we played them. And, through quirks of playoff seeding are at home. Just a feeling.
Washington: Minor team of destiny run going on.
Eagles: Just haven't seen enough from the Pack in a tough game. Damn, I hope I'm wrong. Wish it wasn't so.

agreed. and even if they do somehow manage to beat the eagles, the lions would be next. i don't like our chances of getting to the nfc championship game where we might have a chance.

If our Pack surprises the hell out of me, plays smart, focused, and tough football for 60 minutes, and beats the Eagles. We will beat the Lions the following week, and play our second to last game in LA for NFC Championship.

Green Bay Packers linebacker Edgerrin Cooper has been named the NFC Defensive Rookie of the Month for December/January 2024

Just a little FYI Jared Verse is the favorite to win DROY. His state line 17 games 66 tackles (11 TFL) 4.5 sacks 2 FR

Cooper stat line 14 games 87 tackles (13 TFL) 3.5 sacks 2 FR and 1 INT

How can Verse be the favorite for ROY and Cooper not seeming to even be in conversation?

Xavier McKinney has been named to the NFLPA’s All-Pro team as its lone free safety, the Packers announce. Only players are allowed to vote, so McKinney is held in very high regard by his peers.
